Album Notes
The fourth full length release from Horse Cave Trio and second for the award winning Funky D Records is "Dust Off The Jukebox"!!! Just as the title implies, the boys will take you on a journey through musical styles and memories that influenced them and inspired this recording. Thirteen tracks fill this Jukebox, and each one is an instant HCT classic. The lead track, "Memphis Shine" is a tribute to the sounds of Motown/Stax. "The Bluesman Of Rock 'n' Roll" and "Sugar Coated Love" feature the lead guitar of Detroit legend Jim McCarty(Mitch Ryder/The Rockets). His longtime partner, Johnny Bee Badanjek wrote and performs on the original track "Fix Of Love". The producer for this release is Tino Gross(Howling Diablos) who penned the original "Man Who Built Your Hot Rod". Tino also plays drums on several tracks for this release. The HCT original ballad "Honey Always" brings back the days of Doo Wop, with a modern flair. "Chestnut Flats" takes you on a journey through the hills of Tennessee but with a Tony Joe White/CCR swampy groove. Also featured on several tracks is Jimmie Bones(Kid Rock) who adds his signature keyboard magic. The Horse Cave Trio are Ron DeVore(vocals/bass guitar), Lou Simon(guitars) and Michael Stutso. Drop in your coins and "Dust Off The Jukebox"!!!

Forever Forever
Horse Cave Trio's Dust Off The Jukebox is EXTREMELY hot!

Dang, this is killer!
I've had this CD since October, and I love it! When I'm in the car and I need a shot of audio caffeine, Horse Cave kicks me into gear! When I'm working late, I put on "Dust off The Jukebox, and turn up the speakers to drown out my distractions. The bass sounds great, the snare is poppin', guitars on fire, and of course the distinctive vocals as well! There's no mistaking this band! And this latest disc is a killer!!
You can hear the DNA in each tune, but the originality is right in your face! It's exactly what I needed after Hart County, which I've had for years!! If I had that on vinyl, the grooves would be ground down to nothing! I need to review that one too!
