ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Ronen was raised in suburban New York by a pack of wild folk musicians. After studying Theatre at Northwestern University, Ronen decided that Chicago was nice enough to stick around.

The folks at the In-One-Ear Open Mic at the Heartland Cafe were particularly nice, and without that venue's welcoming atmosphere, this album might not exist. 'Cracks' is the result of three years' worth of the drive to be inspired, to create and to share, assisted by a growing confidence in solo musical performance. 'A Small Place' is a particular favorite of many at the In-One-Ear, who have adopted the piece as the show's unofficial theme song.

Ronen's music has also been heard at The Turning Point in Piermont, New York, at Kulak's Woodshed in Los Angeles, at Burning Man, and at several venues around the city of Chicago.
