Album Notes
After 10 years of writing, composing and performing, my debut album began to gain form with Tamar Eisenman as musical producer. It felt like everything I've done beforehand was a necessary preparation for me to get to this point- matured and well brused by the rough Israeli musical scene.
From then on the songs were chosen and well polished together. A long period of deep discussion about the style and shape we wished the album to contain, led to the final choices of songs, sounds and musicians who play on the album.
Most of the work was done in Tamar's studio, alongside the uprising heat and tentative winters in the streets of Tel Aviv.

From the beginning a decision was made to do this as an independent project, so that there would be no influences and schedule deadlines from any outsource record company. Our main goal and leading method was that WE will be pleased and satisfied with the final result. This may have brought up many delays and difficulties, but it was the only way to maintain complete freedom of creation threw out the whole process, and therefore the only right way for me.
I truely believe that learning by walking the crooked line yourself is an essential part of becoming an honest artist.

The result of over 2 years of work is an album built as a puzzle- put together from pieces of my life. A colorful range of songs varied from warm, soothing tunes, alongside upbeat folk-rock blues. With influences such as Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Paul Simon, Ali Farka Toure and John Martyn, together with Eisenman's vision and input- all helped create an individual, uncompromising and fresh voice. The texts provide my insights and feelings concerning social issues, as well as home, political propaganda, culture and environment - with a personal deep need and passion to return to some basic natural sources. It’s a contemporary venture into our everyday life, with all its complexity and sensitivity.
