ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Originally from Norfolk Virginia, Ron Hedland made Toronto, Canada his adopted home in the late 60`s. His talents as a musician, songwriter and vocalist soon made him a legend. A musician`s, musician, Hedland played drums & keyboards(sometimes at the same time)all the while holding down the lead vocals. His creativity in the recording studio are evident on this release. Unfortunately Ron`s career preceded the indie era of recording and releasing records and that "Big Label Record Deal" never came his way. Sadly in 1998, he was murdered and the perpetrator never arrested. His friends and associates raised money with a tribute concert for his surviving daughter and grandson. They in turn requested that the funds be used to gather up all his recordings and release a full length CD. "Someday" is the result and an excellent example of Ron Hedland`s body of work. He lives forever in the music.
