Album Notes
The Tartarsauce Traditional Jazz Band's 5th recording is perhaps the group's best. This CD reunites three of the band members from Chet Bogan's Wolverine Jass Band with three great traditional jazz performers and vocalist Judie Cochill, performing the arrangements of Chet Bogan. These charts are well thought out and pure fun to listen to. The CD is led by Yamaha artist Ron Kischuk on trombone. Ron is joined by legendary trumpeter Johnny Trudell, clarinetist Pete Kahn, Chuck Shermetaro on piano, Marion Hayden on the bass, Dan Maslanka on drums and Judie Cochill on vocals.

The magic in this CD is the joy in the music from arranger to finished product. The musicians are all in it to make great music, and Judie Cochill's vocals standout as being one of the last true singers. Her renditions of Sam You Made The Pants Too Long, Trombone Cholly, and You Gotta See Your Mama Every Night will be perennial favorites among devotees of this genre. You are sure to enjoy this CD - we promise!
