Album Notes
Ron Meyers led a popular garage band in high school but left his music behind for the “real world”. As a successful businessman, Ron paused at midlife to rejuvenate his musical passion. When Magic Child, his first CD, was released in 1997, the world had its first chance to share the magic of his musical soul. Now he’s back with more original songs about life’s journey as well as covers of some of the tunes that inspired him as a young man.

Touch the Soul includes 5 original songs about the life journey. I write about the way life changes as we change our attitudes and deal with our past, about loving another fully and consciously, about trusting life and living it fully. The album also includes 6 cover songs that touched my soul as a young musician. I hope to touch the soul of the listener with my music. I think my musical strength is creating songs that are full of emotion and soul as well as musically interesting. Ron

Thanks to Clay Smith, my producer companion on this musical journey, whose talent, humor and friendship have supported, enriched and delighted me at every step.
