And Chaka Kahn to name a few.
His most memorable gig was opening for Roy Orbison at the age 16.

After recording local hits at Chess Studios,.Ronnie hit the road with an array of show bands, ending up in Las Vegas for 9 months.
He returned to Chicago to perform in local bands such as Baby Huey and the Babysitters
