Album Notes
Voices is an intimate but powerful collection of original, Traditional, familiar and fused East Coast Folk music by Rosalee Peppard. Full of variety, Voices opens with an edgy western-movie-style song and continues in musical genres from East Indian, Delta Blues, Traditional, folk ballads, opera and pop, self-accompanied on DeJong/Leithwood classical guitar, Crosby dreadnaught acoustic guitar and Graf mountain dulcimer. Joining Rosalee on percussion: S Hannigan, keyboards: T Leighton, fiddle: D Reed, cello: W Solomon, slide blues guitar: J Campbelljohn, and Paul Mills on guitars, mandolin, bass and percussion. Produced by Paul at The Millstream in Toronto, Canada.

Recognized collector and unique interpreter of East Coast Canada’s rich oral tradition, award-winning, Maritime “Her-storian”, Rosalee Peppard, masterfully transcribes and performs Maritime Heritage in Story and Song. She makes history come to life and connects the present with the past. With her endless energy and passion, she wows listeners with her powerful lyrics and shimmering vocals, self accompanied on Canadian crafted classical guitar, acoustic guitar and mountain dulcimer - teaching our her/history through her unique theatrical artistry.
