Album Notes
Mark Bunyan has been writing cabaret material and musical theatre for many years. UNBURIED TREASURES, for a cast of five, is his most recent work and was produced in London in 2010.

Some British reviews of Mark’s work include:

"A composer-parodist who restores one's faith in the unfashionable traditions of the witty English musical and intimate revue." -- Michael Ratcliffe, The Observer.

“One of the most brilliant talents working in the musical theatre and cabaret in this country.” Matti Aijala, Musical Stages Co UK

“One of London’s best kept musical as well as comedy cabaret secrets.” Mark Shenton, The Stage.

"In the tradition of the witty English musical -- and comparisons to Coward are inevitable and apt….” The Scotsman

"Witty, often painful and consistently hilarious... Most of Mark Bunyan's songs are simple in the sense that Stephen Sondheim's are simple -- words and music seem inevitable." -- Gay News

“I wish I’d written some of the songs.” – Dillie Keane of Fascinating Aida.
