Strung Out

by Rowdy Princess Music Group

Strung Out is a sultry Contemporary R&B track combined with a heavy Hip-Hop kick. The vocals through out the song are whispery and melodic with eerie echo effects that imitate a trippy vibe .

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Rowdy Princess Music Group consists of songwriting/ producing duo Nia and Tiani Wright. The indie music label was established in New York in 2013. The producers combine different genres of music ranging from Urban Contemporary R&B to Hip-Hop. Nia, the older sibling is a Hip-Hop artist and the group's main songwriter. Tiani is the lead vocalist, who also produces and arranges the music tracks. Rowdy Princess Music Group also enlists 2 in-house producers that co-write and produce music exclusively for the label artists.

Their musical influences include a range of popular R&B artists from the 90's like Brandy, Monica and Mary J Blige. The sisters were introduced to classic R&B from their parents which spanned the 70's and 80's. Artists like Angela Winbush, Melissa Morgan and Tawatha Agee are popular choices of vocal styles for lead singer & producer Tiani.
Nia, has a long list of Hip-Hop influences when it comes to lyrical style, but is partial to artists like Lauryn Hill, MC Lyte and Notorious B.I.G.

Both sisters agree that Babyface, and Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis are their favorite classic R&B producers, while modern day producers include Pharrell Williams, and The Dream.
