ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Roxie Watson recorded these two singles in the spring of 2017 with Rob Gal in Atlanta, GA. Although they were already set to release their fourth full-length album, Try A Little Kindness, in August of 2017, the band wanted to record these songs and send them out to their fans sooner than later. Every fan who came to their local CD Release Show at the Buckhead Theater in Atlanta on August 19th, 2017, was given a copy of this special "45" in advance of the release.

Find Our Way To Love:
This song started with a banjo ditty that LB started playing in practice one day in June 2016. Becky wrote a melody and lyrics inspired by a longing to get past the deep divisions in our society and get back to really seeing each other as brothers and sisters. Becky and LB brought the song to the band during the recording sessions for Try A Little Kindness in New Orleans. The band felt that this was a song for our time, and didn't want to wait to release it on another full-length record in the future. They recorded it with Rob Gal in the spring of 2017 - along with a traditional, Corrina, Corrina - to be released as a pair of singles in the fall. This is the first time the band has released a single, and it breaks with the typical Roxie Watson instrumental line-up for Linda, Becky & B. Wheeler. This track features:
Linda Bolley - banjo and vocal
Becky Shaw - guitar and lead vocal
Beth Wheeler - ukulele
Lenny Lasater - bass and vocal

Corrina, Corrina
This traditional folk song has been covered by artists from Bo Carter to Bob Dylan, Pete Townsend to Joni Mitchell - Roxie Watson adds their name to the list with this version, featuring Lenny Lasater on lead vocal. Lenny brought this song to the band, and it was a perfect match for their intricate, natural harmonies with this delicate instrumental arrangement. This track features:
Lenny Lasater - lead vocal and bass
Linda Bolley - guitar and harmony vocal
Becky Shaw - lap steel and harmony vocal
Beth Wheeler - ukulele
