Just need one word: OUTSTANDING!
This CD is an outstanding collection of classic spiritual music. Rozlyn Sorrell’s voice is soothing, yet powerful. Her range is awesome. As a aficionado of Jazz, (America’s original art form) I can’t help but day dream of her using that great voice and range in an improvisation concept. Again, just a day dream, Roslyn Sorrell has the voice and training to sing in any musical genre’.

This is the voice I want to hear when I go home to glory.
My first exposure to Ms. Sorrell was a tape my best friend recorded of Dr. Schueller's Crystal Cathedral. It was about four o'clock in the morning and I had returned from a night of clubbing. She was singing Some Children See Him and at that moment it was clear angels do walk the earth. This album is well worth the wait and demonstrates a truly gifted artist. When it is all said and done and my time to ascend into the heavens are here I pray Rozlyn will somehow be there to sing me home into glory.
My one wish would be that the album utilized more of her astounding soprano range and was a bit more traditional/classicaly based. However the music world would truly be lacking if she didn't sing her song.

I love Rozlyn's voice and hope she has another CD soon!
I had this CD and had about worn it out. I love the music and the singer. I want to know when Roslyn records another.

Tax Time Soothings
My dear friend Roz has inspired us for years, and when we got her CD last year I brought it home and it got lost in the shuffle. I was gathering files and paperwork for taxes a few months ago and found the CD, and when I remembered "Sparrow," which I'd heard Roz sing several times, I thought it might be nice background for the trying time of tax preps. Little did I know how comforting it was to hear Roz and her deep-felt passion in all the tracks, and it soothed me through the entire 7 day process with an uplift I've never experienced before. "His Eye Is On The Sparrow" remains my fave, but "God Is Walking Me Through" caught me by surprise with it's foot-tapping lilt. How can you listen to "Stop By The Church (Some Time)" and not want to drop what you're doing and just start clapping! I also got very much joy in "Point of No Return," which always caused me to stop and listen closely ... It's funny to contemplate looking forward to tax time next year, but I find myself with this totally positive association, so IRS, bring it on! I've got Roz!
