Album Notes
One day, Ririko Hayashi, my good friend and studio pianist, and I were talking about how much fun it is when we have the chance to play together. At the time, these opportunities came about when we would demonstrate a performance concept to a student. We both agreed that it would be great if we had the time to rehearse and perform some of these wonderful pieces ourselves.

Since our freelance performance and teaching schedules were so hectic and unpredictable, planning a recital was not an option. Instead I suggested we try to record some pieces.

After several years the stars aligned and Ririko and I found a window of opportunity.
We are happy to say that the end result is our first CD entitled
“From the Trumpet Studio”!

Thank you so much for listening,
Rick Leister
