Imagine your watching one of those cool, slightly grainy sixties movies, the part where they go into the club with the great music coming from the band in the background, just loud enough to set the scene, but everyone can still hear each other's lines.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Imagine your watching one of those cool, slightly grainy sixties movies, the part where they go into the club with the great music coming from the band in the background, just loud enough to set the scene, but everyone can still hear each other's lines. Update that to 2008, messing with the beats and running the guitars through a laptop, and you've got the gist of rreplay. Experimental and interesting to listen to or dance if you want to, but also great ambient music that complements what people are doing rather than dominating it.

Rich Rath is an experimental guitarist based in Honolulu. Eric Parker has played in numerous bands in the Boston area. Rich also programs and mangles any beats. All instruments are played through a laptop and the songs are all single take live rcordings. Unpremeditated experimental improv. Give it a listen and enjoy!
