ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Rick Tobey is a singer-songwriter with a deep, rich, unique voice whose songs encompass a variety of styles, including folk, blues, rock, and jazz. "Too Much Coffee", features CHRIS YOUNG on Vocals and Rhythm Guitar and ROLAND FANGUE on Electric Bass and Backup Vocals. Their first CD, entitled IT'S AMAZING ! was recorded in New Orleans. This recording presents a blend of very original rock, jazzy electric instrumentals, and sweet acoustic ballads.

His lyrics can be sensitive, sweet, and witty, and he is an accomplished guitarist whose melodic lead guitar solos are suggestive of Peter Green, Pat Metheny, and Dickey Betts. He can be seen in area clubs and coffee houses, performing solo or with the band.
