Let's Pretend - Sugar mixed with the Who
My Kinda Crazy - a song for anyone who is.... Alt country rock
Love At Any Cost - love song with a prog middle
She Moves - lyrics are improvised, you guess is as good as ours! Grunge (perhaps)
Send the Kids - War! What is it good for?
So Strange - Love song for a bad relationship
Lonely Boy - Jazz(?) - ummm...maybe. Features a slide guitar solo by Dirk
She Just Cries - Motown pop with a weird twist
D.I.Y. Already - Our rock philosophy
Go, Go Girl - Song about an out-of-control girl
Vampire Polo Hat - song about a woman trying to find the strength to leave an unhealthy relationship
Destiny's Calling - This guy is twisted around her finger
Laser Tattoo Removal - "I'll love you forever. But if not there's always...Laser Tattoo Removal"
So This Is How It Ends - Written by Tony P. Features great lead guitar by Jimmy Packes (Twitter @axxepackes)

Society's Basement / King Of Weird

Rubber Clown Car
I think the music of this group is pretty darn good! My favorite is ROXANNE- Dirk was phenomenal at singing this! Also I super enjoy MY KINDA CRAZY- which is exactly what this band is. The recording could use a little more polish in places, but far better than the vast majority of "commercial" radio rock to be sure!! Three Mutant Thumbs Up!

hit the road with Let's Pretend
Rubber Clown Car’s latest album, Let’s Pretend, is my current “on repeat while driving” CD. It’s fan-freaking-tastic. It’s gritty and rock and roll, yet also smooth like the best 80s New Wave, and fun and poignant at the same time. How can you lose with songs like “Vampire Polo Hat”, “Laser Tattoo Removal”, and “My Kinda Weird”? And let’s not forget how beautiful and evocative the cover is. It fully captures the spirit of the album. And that photo really speaks to me, I must say.
