Album Notes
"Almost Done" is a collection of jazzy instrumental tunes that I recorded in my home studio in Rome, NY. I have been playing saxophone since childhood and along the way have taught myself enough guitar, bass and keyboards to play all the parts on the cd. I do have friends who also play these instruments but they were all busy getting haircuts during this project. The entire process took about two years to complete.
The songs from "Almost Done" were pulled magically from the sky almost like I had this great big antenna sticking out of my head. Obviously I could not wear a hat during my recording sessions. Some days the reception was great and other times i should have stayed out of the studio and washed my car. The songs are upbeat, fun and go great with a sandwich. I've been told they sound like they could be heard in a dentist's office, if the dentist was a fan of Rhassan Roland Kirk, Ornette Coleman, Frank Zappa and the Baja Marima Band. I hope you enjoy the music!

John J. Rudiak

Great CD to just listen to.
Several tracks reminded me of the theme from Barney Miller, which is considered by many as a classic. I liked the easy listening of the whole CD. I bought it to listen to a maybe relative's CD before he makes it big.
