Album Notes
The Invigoration Series is a collection of two Gentle Yoga practice CDs that are equally instructive and do not need to be used sequentially. These CDs are particularly well suited for you if you are looking for an energetic Gentle Yoga practice. You will find it easier to follow along if you have previously attended a yoga class or have practiced with any of Rudy’s Gentle Series CDs.
Both of the CDs in the series (Fanning the Fire and Expand Your Range) offer:
-An exploration of modifications and options that make the more challenging postures do-able for those with some joint stiffness and tight muscles
-Guided movements and yoga poses that will help you to increase your strength and flexibility
-Pranayama practice and meditation

Fanning the Fire is the first CD of the INVIGORATION Series, the Intermediate yoga practices born of The Gentle Series yoga CDs. These are clearly detailed, guided yoga experiences designed to help students explore challenges beyond the beginning practices of yoga and discover new sources of flexibility, strength and vitality.

This sequence includes:
1. postures that create deep openings in the hips, shoulders, spine, back and legs.
2. the pranayama practices of kapala bhati, bhastrika and nadi shodhana.

This series also includes abdominal pumping, a powerful technique that tones abdominal muscles, revitalizes the organs of digestion and elimination, and stimulates the heart, liver, kidneys, adrenal glands, diaphragm, solar plexus and lungs.

This is an 80 minute sequence which concludes with pranayama and meditation practice.
