RUSTIE BLUE & BILL ANDERSON WINS ECMA AWARD

Rustie Blue and Bill Anderson have won the Vocal Collaboration of the Year for "Chip Chip" in the 2005 European CMA Awards Choice! "Chip Chip" the single was released to radio in early August 2004, and became the title track to Rustie's third album, released in mid-October.

Rustie Blue had this to say upon hearing about the award: I'm overwhelmed to have recorded with the Legendary "Whisperin Bill Anderson; It was such an honor! I'm so thankful to have had the song "Chip Chip" reach the #1 position on the ECMA chart in October, stay on the chart for several weeks, and still is high on the chart, to have performed with Bill Anderson on January 8th, 2005 at the "Midnite Jamboree" in Nashville, to hear Bill announce that night that he is releasing his new album, "The Way I Fee,l" and included "Chip Chip" on the album, to be nominated by the ECMA for "Vocal Collaboration Of The Year," now to win in that category! What an honor! Thanks goes 1st to my fans, you are the reason I do what I do, to the ECMA and the DJ's that played "Chip Chip", thanks to Bill for giving me the privilege of recording "Chip Chip" with him and for all of his support, thanks to my entire music team, you are the bridge between my fans and me! I'm definitely on a high!

Rustie Blue recently released "The Devil May Care," the second single off of her Chip Chip album. This upbeat, traditional country song is a sassy tune about a relationship gone bad. "The Devil May Care" was written by written by Becky Hobbs ("Angels Among Us"), Don Goodman, and Craig Karp. It can be found on CDX #365 track 15, Mark Trail Music compilation #10, and on the April CHi Hotdisc.

Nashville, TENNESSEE---Rustie Blue (Center Stage Productions) can be heard around the world on Saturday, January 8th, 2005. She will perform her duet, "Chip Chip," with Whisperin' Bill Anderson on the Ernest Tubb Midnight Jamboree, at the Texas Troubadour Theatre in Music Valley Village in Nashville, TN (across from Opryland) at midnight.

The Ernest Tubb Midnight Jamboree is broadcast live on WSM-AM following the Grand Ole Opry. The show can be heard around the world via the website, http://www.wsmonline.com/page.asp?Page=46, and on Sirius Satellite radio channel 137 (http://www.sirius.com).

This is what the music industry has to say about Rustie Blue and "Chip Chip:"

"Whisperin' Bill is singing strongly here and Rustie's harmony vocal is on the money. The production thumps right along. And the song is a catchy dandy, too."
Robert K. Oerman, Music Row Magazine

"Rustie Blue, who's opened for Aaron Tippin, Daryle Singletary, David Lee Murphy and other stars, has been traveling the world spreading her traditional brand of country music. Late last year, just before taking her show to Australia, Rustie went into a Nashville studio with Opry star Bill Anderson to record a duet of 'Chip Chip.' The song turned out so well that it's the title cut of Rustie's new 15-song CD and she and Bill sound great! And where is Rustie's next international jaunt? Norway."
Larry Holden, Country Weekly Magazine

"I think this song is REALLY HOT! We have already been getting some excellent reaction on to the song and it will be charting in the Hotdisc chart this Thursday. I will be playing the song on radio quite a bit for no other reason than it is one of the best cuts on Hotdisc this month and deserves ON MERIT airplay!"
Stuart Cameron, CHi Hotdisc

"Chip Chip" has debuted on the New Music Weekly Chart at #50 and is moving up. Rustie has touring plans for 2005, for more information and for high-resolution downloadable photos go to www.rustieblue.com.

Rustie's first album was great, second album is excellent
If we were still using vinyl, I would have worn down the grooves playing 'That Oughta Do It', luckily 'Enter At Your Own Risk' landed on my desk and confirmed my initial thought, that this young lady is someone to watch carefully. With a couple of tracks written by Bill Anderson, and another one due (possibly on next album). This album has tracks that really make you take notice tracks like 'Looking Back', 'Take These Mem'ries', 'We Built An All Night Fire' and 'Who's She To You' are ones that are enjoying success on my playlist. I also had the chance to see Rustie perform live in concert and this is something you don't want to miss. Can't wait for album number 3

A real winner!!
This second album I enjoyed even more than the first, maybe because Rustie's voice underwent some changes, maybe because she had a better sound engineer, maybe because the wind blew from a different direction, maybe..... Don't know exactly why, but it sounded better to me. Hey, maybe it was because I got it for free as a result of a "2 for 1" sale Rustie was having at the time. I always did like the price of, FREE!! But anyway you look at it, there aren't any bad tracks on this album and that's an honest statement folks! It all came together for Rustie on this album; the song selection, the band she had behind her, the engineering crew, the whole enchilada. My picks for favorite tracks start with the title song, "Enter At Your Own Risk," which contains a line about "watch out for the midnight work all over this town." Now I ask you, since poor ol' Doug works a midnight shift, can't you expect me to love a song with lyrics like that? Other 'best picks' include "I'm Not Going Til I'm Gone", "So Close, So Far", "Trouble" (another real honky tonk toe tapper), and especially "In Care Of The Blues" (with a neat sax part!) and "Looking Back" which is a slow ballad type that would be great for a "hold'em close" slow dance with your favorite honey. I think the really great piano playing by Tim Atwood really contributes a lot to the overall sound of the songs! I've never met Mr. Atwood, but based on the performance he added to this album, he can expect to get a call from me if I ever put a band together. Go buy a copy of this album folks. You won't be sorry!
