ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Ruud de Vries is a multifaceted tenor saxophonist from the Netherlands. When performing live, De Vries prefers to play instrumental groovy jazz to make people dance. This album captures his straight forward style of playing. It was recorded in 2006 with the band he worked with at that time. This is a very groovy, rockin' album, featuring danceable styles like jazzfunk, rock, latin and rock 'n roll. On one track you can also hear De Vries sing (What Does it Take).
