ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Promised Land" is the first album by RYM Worship, a music resource branch of Reformed Youth Ministries, led by worship leader and singer/songwriter Joe Deegan. It is a collection of 12 songs, both old and new, produced and recorded by Houston native and former Caedmon's Call band member Josh Moore. Half of the record is comprised of original songs written by Joe Deegan such as "More Than We Know," "Child of the King," and "My Only Comfort." The remaining songs such as "On Jordan's Stormy Banks" and "We Will Feast in the House of Zion" were written by various other artists and hymn writers throughout the years. The church has long been blessed by music that draws from the stories of Scripture and God's promises to his people. This album strives to highlight those stories and promises by blending hymns and worship songs in a largely acoustic driven folk style. RYM Worship also strives to be a resource to churches and youth ministries that wish to incorporate these songs into their own worship services.
