ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Welcome to the 8th S.A. Adams album. Taking over 12 years & two US presidential administrations to complete, A Murder Of Crows marks the heaviest album in his career.

Recorded in New York, on location at Flood Studios in Brooklyn and Adams' superstorm-Sandy-destroyed-home in Island Park, the album is sonically as gritty as the places it was tracked at. Part Motorhead, Part GBH-Ramones-Exploited influenced punk, with 70's rock seasonings courtesy of Ted Nugent, Blue Cheer, the MC5 & the Stooges, A Murder Of Crows drags the listener on a journey through the mud & bog of Adams' twisted mind mixed with a metal-stew not heard since "Ace Of Spades" back during the golden age of Metal.

A Murder Of Crows isn't a set of juvenile cars & girls 80's hair metal tunes--Adams' targets a whole new subject matter. From themes of entitlement (The Dollhouse), the scars of life (Four on The Floor), the embodiment of lust (Sins Of Your Flesh), or discontent of the masses (The Rising), Adams draws out the lyrical Serrated Knives, ready to "gut" all those who arrived in his cross-hairs over the past "baker's dozen" decade. (The vivisection of the corporate world on the track "The Daily Grind" has got to be heard to be believed. It's honest brutality pushed the advance track to chart weeks before the album came out.) And for the first time ever, guest appearances abound on an S.A. Adams album, including Raven's John Gallagher on the track Samurai.

You want it hard? You want it real dirty? Then this is what you've been searching for. Own it now.
