ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The Sacramento Choral Society & Orchestra (SCSO), established in 1996, conducted by Donald Kendrick, has grown to become one of the largest symphonic choruses in the United States. Members of this auditioned, volunteer, professional-caliber chorus, hailing from six different Northern California counties, have a formed a unique arts partnership with their own professional symphony orchestra. Of the 12,000 community choruses in the United States, the SCSO is the only chorus nationally to have a collective bargaining agreement with their own orchestra, in proud collaboration with the American Federation of Musicians Local #12.
The SCSO serves as proud international cultural ambassadors with regular concert tours to Europe, Canada, China and performances at Carnegie Hall in New York and Disney Hall in Los Angeles.
