Album Notes
We sat down at my dining room table with an acoustic guitar and an acoustic bass. John said, “I’ve got these words:

You kicked me in the ass until it bled.
You played some fucked up mind games with my head.
As a dirty S.O.B. you found your niche.
You dirty, stinking, rotten, nasty bitch.
I’ve thought of every word from A to Z
But you put the cunt in country.

Forty five minutes later we were a band. Ten years later we have taken every song from all of our CDs that anyone has ever asked for and put them on two discs. These are the cream of the crop songs you’ve ever wanted from us. This first disc is a collection of all of our early beginnings. From the first songs we wrote that wound up on “Life Behind Bars” to songs that wound up on our first live CD.

We appreciate you sticking by our side through these first 10 years. There’s a lot more songs John and I have in the vaults of our twisted heads and can’t wait to see what the next 10 years hold for us and our music. –Scotty Roller

The Saddle Tramps Greatest Hits #1
I live in San Diego,I first saw them close to 7 years ago at a tattoo convention/car show here in town.Everybody was looking at that stuff inside and I was THE ONLY person to watch the band that day AND FELL IN LOVE WITH THEM!(but) it took another 5 years to see um again!(and I'm talkin NOT EVEN on Youtube!)Then a couple vids turned up on there (BUT)it was just a couple weeks before getting to see them 2 nights straight in L.A. (and going up there again next week to see um again!)Now on to the review...
(POSITIVE)You CAN NOT go wrong with The Saddle Tramps.I turn ALL my friends/Rock stars on to them (next time I see thier respounce)"THANK YOU!" (The ghost of Country Dick Montana lives in The Tramps if you ever liked The Beat Farmers)
(NEGITIVE)I have everything that they have put out,so when I saw this I wanted to check if there our any versions I don't have.(what I realized is) Most of the "snipits" of the songs ARE NOT the song they have listed it SHOULD BE?
(SUGGESTION)Good album but in my point of view I say PASS on this.(Why?)Cause if you buy it you'll end up LOVING UM TOO and end up wanting to buy the rest of thier stuff.(So just pass on this)And buy the whole original albums. You'll be GLAD you did!
