Album Notes
The most powerful and advanced breathing program available in Conscious Breathing on the planet. Created with an introduction and three progressive breathing patterns for synchronous breathing. Conscious Breathing is using a circular breath where the inhale and exhale are connected together with out any gaps in between.

The more circular your breath becomes the more energy you are able to generate, releasing blockages in the body, negativity, stress, and tension that can be dissolved by the breath. The breathing patterns on this CD were recorded with the most efficient and natural breath possible by using sound and frequency analyzers to achieve the waveform that reflects the correct breathing pattern of Conscious Breathing. Simple, easy to learn, and an indispensable healing tool.

New and just added is the Instructions and free software from Comparisonics, Inc for those Deaf and hearing impaired to use the breathing CD. It requires simple software from adaptec cd editing or similiar to create a wav file of about 2 minutes and opening the Comparisonics wave display. You will then be able to visually see the breathing pattern and breathe to it. A screen shot of the player is at Private sessions and workshops available in Atlanta. email: for appointment.

Very interesting and Useful CD. Recommend to give it a try!
This is my first work with Conscious Breathing (also known as Circular Breathing and Rebirthing). I have experienced states of heightened awareness (lasting 30-60 mins), tingling in my hands (intense) and belly, and also a large (though temporary) release from my lower back pain! I have only done the 20 min breath work on the cd 5 times now. Eventually you work up to 60 mins per day. And then you work up to 60 mins with a higher breathing rate.
I am pretty interested to see where this goes, as I have really just started and can't imagine 1hr of this intense breath work.
I was not sure what to think about breathing along with a recorded breath. I thought music would be better. But, I can say that it really serves it purpose. I seem to mostly stay conscious and focused on the breath and it is at such a "circular" pace (no pausing at all). I really recommend this cd to all who have any curiousity at finding out what Conscious breathing may be and may bring. Also, look into this topic more, as some interesting "things" may come up from your past, as the breath (energy) seems to get down deep in your body and often times bring up forgotten memories (hence the term rebirthing - the maker of the cd coined this term a long time ago as memories from birth came up for him). I'll try to write an update in the next few months.

Highly Recommended
This is a very useful resource for those who are interested in pursuing conscious breathing as a method of healing. The introduction is both informative and interesting. The tracks include several levels of breathing sounds. You hear breathing which, importantly, is paced to help the efficacy of your breath work. I have found in my experience that it's easy to lose track of an even paced breath when breathing alone. This cd is extremely helpful with keeping my breath "on track." I am grateful to own a copy of this work as I plan on continuing to use it for myself and with my friends who wish to experience conscious breathing.

Highly recomended
As someone totally new to the concept of conscious breathing, this CD by Sadhana Concepts has been a truly amazing experience. For once here is a product for which both the claims and even disclaimer are totally justified. The effects on the body do remind me of those 15km runs through the forest and that was after only a 20min session!

Have been breathing now with The Healing Art of Conscious Breathing CD three to four times weekly, for five months or so. In the last week have had a couple of breath/energy encounters. In these my body starts tingling usually around the left thigh and this sensation (usually after an
hour breathing level two and with top-ups of three) suddenly suffuses my whole being...a very powerful and exhilarating sensation. In this my senses are sharply focussed, the body vibrating .

Following the last one, just before I turned on my side, breathing as
Leonard Orr advises-.four shorts and one long.-and I was thrilled to be
able to continue the sensation with the same intensity for several more minutes. This I feel demonstrates that the object of the exercise would be to learn to ultimately access this state naturally, a very exciting and powerful proposition.

When I did relax on my side the words of the song...`Islands in the Stream' popped into consciousness. This brought the idea that the breath is like a cosmic stream; flowing by without us ever noticing it, that is, for those of us who never meditate. When I fell asleep I dreamt of being in bed with a Black woman with a vibrator, from which came the image of the vibration of breath rubbing against the body's electrical field, of head and body (spirit and soul) being `re-fused' together.

In my view the CD opens up the meditative process in a way which is eminently pragmatic. In conjunction with it I am reading and listening to Thic Nhat Hahn, and his wonderfully creative approach to emotional intelligence. As a shrink I encourage clients interested in the CD to do likewise, since his 'Art of Mindful Living' would be the goal of why work with the CD in the first place.

The Healing Art of Conscious Breathing CD comes complete with instructions, claims and a disclaimer that are totally accurate. I use the CD to assist me with managing my COPD. This CD does not cover 'Purse' Breathing however the CD does seem to increase lung air capacity meaning that I use less medication increasing my quality of life. In my opinion, this CD is a must for anyone who wants to heal their bodies.
