ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
With She, SallyA travels from sophisticated jazz-infused numbers to fun pop tunes to spiritual a cappella vocals. SallyA’s vocals have been called “sturdy and sultry” by the Tulsa World. One entertainment writer claims, “her fever burns right to the bone,” and her voice has “a range wide enough to accommodate anything this versatile singer-songwriter produces.” She's a little bit Pink Martini, a little bit Pat Benatar with a touch of Bonnie Raitt. Listen in and see what you think.

Passion, variety and a woman's sensibility.
She by Singer-songwriter SallyA is full of great lyrics (Eden Rap), passionate rememberances (The Treasure) and a woman's sensibility (She, The Words). With its instrumental depth and musical variety, this is a CD you can hear over and over. I've already listened to She several times and found something new with every play. This is highly recommended listening.

A Modern-Day Jazz Diva
This CD blew me away. Sally A' s vocals are compelling - one minute she's a sophisticated Patricia Barber with witty lyrics and the next she's a Susan Tedeschi/Bonnie Raitt mix. Her voice is enough of a reason to buy the CD, but the bonus is the songs themselves, most of which she wrote. If you are a jazz or blues fan, you'll want this CD for your personal collection, and to pass on to good friends.

I loved this CD!
I could and do listen to this CD over and over again. I'm blown away by Sally's ability to put in words and music a rich positive experience of being a woman!
