ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Where Americana meets funk and punk. A pop album of dark doings, where strained, ethically challenged characters straddle the abyss but reach for the light. The 11th album by Salon de la Guerre is a pop album but also continues writer Eric R. Rasmussen's exploration of electronic music as a means of achieving both noise art and Americana. The album combines sweet pop tunes with noise, and its lyrics include small vignettes of players and grifters who wistfully muse about life, helplessness and horror.
