Album Notes
...Salvatore lives in Caserta, and has given serious study to the piano, to jazz and to composition, and has played chiefly in the south of Italy: but the music he writes and feels close to seems, through his choices and affinities, to be located in a space all his own, at a crossroads between the Mediterranean and the cold seas of northern Europe, between the fascinations of Portugal and the California of a certain refined (and white) jazz derived from bebop.
The presence of Adele’s voice reinforces the impression, weaving through the web of chords and melody lines in an authentic dialogue, always offering something surprising.
Pietro Leveratto
