Album Notes
This is a live jazz concert given back in 2005, gorgeously recorded by Trent Watkins and mastered by

We were unaware that this would be our final concert together, as my precious friend and colleague, Guitarist Simon Salz, died of cancer less than a year after this recording.

Simon was in top form in this performance, and anyone familiar with his unique and elegant playing style will love this CD.

Kevin Mauldin lays down an awesome bass groove, and Eric Bogart provides artistic brushes and Django style rhythm guitar. In addition to the violin, I solo on chromatic harmonica on track 6, In a Sentimental Mood.

If you order a hard copy of the CD, there are several nice photos of Simon; in addition, proceeds of your purchase will be supporting the Young Musicians Camp in Miami, Florida, founded by Simon and his wife Sarah.
