Album Notes
02/06/18 This is my newest CD, a collection of "modern classical" music all written and performed on a Roland Fantom synthesizer. Lots of kinetic energy in here, and at times a nutty sense of humor. When I was in school(Peabody Conservatory--i was a comp major 1976-80)classical music was called "serious music". Oy...My music is very sincere in its intent to please and entertain, but serious? Well, sometimes..

Anyway, this collection is from a particular creative period following the acquisition of this wonderful keyboard. All the soundz I found which inspired me. I hope that you the listener find something in here that speaks to you. SC

SAM CRAIN was educated at Peabody Conservatory of Music, where he studied composition with Robert Hall Lewis. He has 30 CDs of music ranging in style from straight-ahead jazz to fusion to modern classical music. Also guitarist, with a few years of early lessons with Ben Drake but otherwise self-taught. www. for more information.
