Album Notes
New England bound Sam Francis is back to his roots. The 8 songs featured on his new album titled “Pure Masonic Zeal!” range from a classic folk approach, dashes of keyboard, electronic drums, an occasional saturated phrase ala "Joe Satriani", and generally boasts the energy of an improv player with a 1 take aesthetic. Issues surrounding stimulus packages, end of the world fanaticism, and stream of consciousness grabs in the dark – color this portrait with its own sense of quirky zeal. Artwork completed by the Annapolis Chosen.

Sam Francis has been playing coffee houses and open mic venues for the last 4 years. His label I Had an Accident Records released his debut album “The Roarkian Template” in 2008. After having lived in the greater Phoenix area, producing/recording several songs, and playing around the area – Sam has returned to his New England roots. Francis has been involved with music since he turned 15 and currently plays guitar in a Proggish trio called "Miranda" - which is based out of Leominster, MA.
