Album Notes
Caledonia Dreaming is a song about being homesick and away from my family and Scotland for too long. It is a loving tribute to my late father who first taught me to play the guitar. Thank you DAD! We love you and miss you always. This song is for you.

It is also a song for everyone who sometimes feels homesick at times in their lives. No matter who you are or where you're from, wherever you are, just remember your home is inside of YOU...for always.

All guitar/vocals - Samuel Alexander Barbour
Recorded at AYM Studios, Hong Kong with Fion Ip & Anthony Yeung

Caledonia Dreaming
This lovely song by Sam is both a summary of a decade or so in Hong Kong and a guideline to travellers anywhere about to embark upon exploring the world. However, the trill ending the D major chords evokes that of bagpipes and ties the music firmly to Scotland, his home. The simple chord structure and hooky bridge hint to this song's future, which is to be picked up by almost any other singer or band - it's that good.
