ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
On the Rocks takes its name from a few sources: my choir ROCS; the vocal composition I wrote for the choir, also called Rocks; and the general emotional theme of the tracks, which run from desire to love to despair.

This is my first album to have acoustic instruments on it. The recorder features on You're Like Water and My Anchor; Trent Howard did a moving improvised sax solo for Scared. Some of his other takes were sampled for Too Far and Tiny Blade.
Katherine Sivieng features as a vocal soloist on the bonus track Song for Ben (sung by Katherine Sivieng). Also included is Xaeja's Requiem Mix of my recording of the traditional Alleluia round.
