Album Notes
Santa Fe & the Fat City Horns, the most known UNKNOWN horn band in the world. Ask musicians anywhere in the world about this band and you're likely to get a surprised look that says "How did YOU know about them"! The Crown Jewel of Las Vegas Nevada, this band has re-set the bar for "horn bands". Although known and revered as one of (if not THE) most original and prolific of the horn bands in this genre, they are also admired and loved as an extremely talented and versatile vocal group. With complex yet catchy harmonies and "hooks" this new CD by the band shows their writing, singing and arranging prowess to the world in a pristine studio recording.

The Best Band in the Whirled!
The true musician and/or audiophile OWES it to themselves to buy this record now. I have been buying albums since 1969 and inherited an admirable collection from my parents. I rank the Pat Metheny Group, Steely Dan, the YellowJackets, SpyroGyra and others as top-shelf material. This is the best record from the Best Band in the World! Ask those in the know. Do yourself a favor. Buy it now. Not an inferior cut on the album. This is how it's done. And the CD Baby staff are of singular and uncompromising and refreshing quality. Find out for yourself when you get your order confirmation e-mail. This has been an unpaid, unsolicited political endorsement.

Doesn't get any better than this
This is their latest and greatest cd. Absolutely on par with Steely Dan and Tower of Power but with more rich and complex horn arrangements and vocal harmonies if you can imagine that. Finally made the pilgrimage to see these masters of the groove live at the Las Vegas Palms Lounge. Best ten bucks I ever spent and can't wait to do it again. The songs on this cd will give you goose bumps, it's that good. Also check out their new audio visual live dvd with guests Bill Champlin and family. You will be healed.

This album has so much talent on it is hard to describe. I saw these cats in Las Vegas a few weeks back and they were stunning..

Jerry Lopez is the leader of the band who sings, plays amazing guitar and leads this fantastic group through a list of songs that seem to get better with each track.

My favorites are Indian Summer Day with a smashing vocal job by Tony Davich and the incredible Si Te Vas sung by Jerry Lopez..

If you like Tower of Power, Earth, Wind and Fire all kicked up about two notches, then you simply have to put this album in your cart. I promise you will not be disappointed.

This band needs some national exposure and they would be all over the place I believe.

I've seen them playing live in Las Vegas this year. Came all the way there from Russia. And it was awesome! If I only could go back to these moments... After the show I've bought this CD. Cool, catchy, groooooovy :)
