Album Notes
Beginning at the tender age of eight, Sarah has been astounding audiences worldwide with her soaring soprano. She has performed every major lead operatic role from Bizet to Handel to Verdi; and has been a lead or featured performer in musicals as varied as "Brigadoon" and "Pippin". A Colorado Native, Sarah has been a mainstay performer at both the Pikes Peak Center for the Performing Arts and the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center. She has toured the United States extensively, and was to be the featured vocalist at the opening ceremonies of the Seattle Worlds Fair...until it was rained-out! Her European Tour took her to stages in Oppersum, The Netherlands; Heidelberg, Germany; Eichstatt, West Germany; Pordenone, Italy; Borgo a Mozzano, Italy; Annecy, France; Dijon, France; Groningen, Germany; and Venice, Italy.

She has performed Jazz Improvisations Live with Buddy Prima (Louis' nephew) and "The Land of Make Believe" both live and in the studio with Chuck Mangione. It was this "taste of sin" that brought the singer to "The Soprano Sells Out". When former Boston Radio Personality and Producer Joe Cervone heard her sing at a benefit in a mansion on the side of a mountain (really!), he knew she could sing anything. And so she does. Now, this is not an opera singer singing pop music like, well, an OPERA singer. This is a full-range vocalist performing great music they way it was meant to be sung.

From the '60s Latin Pop of "One Note Samba" to the War Era Swing of "...Castles..." and "...Nightingale...", to the Pop Classic "Fool (If You Think It's Over)" and through the beautifully haunting "Guess I'll Hang My Tears Out To Dry" and "Just Another Day"; Sarah just nails it. Driven by crisp, melodic and complementary arrangements, the "Soprano" explores her entire 3-1/2 Octave range (and even dives into some "vocalese"!) on this, her first non-operatic album.

It's a debut of sorts...a debut of a new direction for an incredibly talented singer...and there's more to come; so ENJOY!
