Album Notes
Sarah Sparks is a singer/songwriter from a small town in central Indiana. Her musical career began during her freshman year of college where she began writing, playing guitar, and performing at the campus coffee house. Sarah has continued to perform in Chicago and the Midwest and released a full-length album, The Fish and the Bird, on Bandcamp with her twin sister, Kate, in April of 2012 and an EP, The Chicago Project, on Noisetrade in the spring of 2013.

In the genre of modern folk, Sarah’s writing attempts to bring justice to the complexity of the human experience while being honest, yet retaining hope.
