Album Notes
sAs (aka Steve Sciallo) composes music that has a sonic quality quite unlike other ambient or "background music". Using commercially available loops and samples (as well as his own creative MIDI input), sAs filters everything through his imaginative approach to song structure and musical interpretation. Please enjoy sAs’ music as you transit through your daily life.

About sAs
Future Memory is the first offering from this native Californian.

“I wanted to create electronic music that was highly accessible and imaginative without being cliché," sAs says from his studio in Thousand Oaks, CA. "I decided to use sounds that would be familiar to most listeners but that were arranged and produced in novel and unexpected ways."

sAs continues, "The whole process of composing, producing, distributing and marketing Future Memory as an indie composer has been really cool. I really relate to the Indie music culture in that it's heavily focused on musical self-expression rather than will it sell to a mass audience."

I find the music to be upbeat and meditational in nature. Good background when working on projects. Also, good workout music and for long runs. Don't know if it would be good converastion background music. More personal, I think.
