ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"All That Shines", an unapologetic celebration of summer beach time with friends and family, is the first single from Saturday's Radio's upcoming fifth album.

Strongly influenced by the Beach Boys, "All That Shines" is a rich confection packed with harmonies, woo-hoo's, tremolo rhythm guitars, a rollicking piano, clicks, clacks, and chiming things, and even a harmonica or two. It's yer new summer anthem!

All instruments & sounds were played, sung, and recorded by Rob Christensen at The Cottage in the Woods in Margo, Virginia, except the lead vocal, which was recorded by Travis Atkinson at Strangebird Recording in Nashville, Tennessee. Travis also recorded the solo-acoustic version at Strangebird.

Included on the maxi-single is a downbeat solo acoustic version, a "no words" instrumental & backing vocals version, a totally instrumental version, and a just-for-fun "mono 45" version that sounds like, well, a mono 45 rpm radio edit single from the sixties.
