ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Phoenix Deluxe is the sound of self preservation. The longing of personal achievement, intensity and growth. This album is completely made by Saukar sonically; composed, produced, mixed & mastered. An album of this kind of depth takes much time to create but the depth is rewarding. Comprised of multiple songs that have spanned over 7 + years, it stills feels fresh. Art of this depth shows the level of artistry that Saukar is willing to undergo to complete his goals.

The beginning songs embody completing goals and staying positive through the adversity of doing such. As the album comes to the middles songs, they become about personal self-reflection of bad choices and the learning thereof. It begins to climax again with a burst of celebration and social motivational pursuits.

These songs speak more as declaration versus raps. The music hits hard to emphasize the feel of struggle while the lyrics are direct and unflinching. The advent of wordplay is sacrificed for the level of immediacy. A perfect body of work for those who choose to work out or need a dose of "get-off-your-ass".
