Album Notes
This is the first LIVE album for Harriet Schock, who is a songwriter (Grammy-nominated "Ain't No Way To Treat A Lady"), a recording artist with six solo albums, a performer, a songwriting consultant, teacher and lecturer as well as an author. Her songs are beautiful and her studio albums are stunning... Now you can enjoy the whimsy of her live performance on CD.

This CD, produced and engineered by Phil Appelbaum, was recorded live at Genghis Cohen, in Los Angeles and at The Coffee Gallery Backstage, in Pasadena. Backing up Harriet are: Gary Floyd & Corwyn Travers - vocals; Joe Lamanno - bass; Danya - percussion; Herbie Katz - harmonica. Harriet sings and plays the piano.

In 1999, Harriet Schock completed an eleven-city tour with her newly released cd, "Rosebud," signed to Evening Star Music Group, distributed by City Hall Records, and her new book, Becoming Remarkable, published by Blue Dolphin Publishing.

Her songs have been recorded by such diverse artists as Smokey Robinson, Roberta Flack, Helen Reddy, Lee Greenwood, Johnny Mathis, Nancy Wilson, Manfred Mann, the new Supremes, Carl Anderson, Vesica Pisces, and the Little Mermaid.

Her feature film and TV song credits include "The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking," "Delta Force II," ABC's "The Secret Garden," Motown's "The Last Dragon" and "The Real Life Adventures of Santa Claus," which aired Christmas, 2000.
