ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Growing up in a parish community that values traditional music, especially for the Mass in the Extraordinary Form, this group of young ladies decided to form a schola to sing sacred music at Mass. All of the members, including director Stephanie Pestana, are in high school. As some of these founding members move on to new pursuits (college, religious vocations, monastic life), they hope that these sacred works glorify God through Mary. Through the schola's friendship with the Benedictines of Mary in Kansas City, MO, the sisters have permitted these young women to record three of the Benedictines' own compositions on this CD.
