Album Notes
My musical interests began early on with the Guitar and evolved into songwriting, composing and arranging in a variety of styles. From the initial Rock influences of my youth, I dove headlong through the years into various other styles of music including Jazz, Fusion, Classical, Blues and World Music. I even played Upright Bass in a Honky-Tonk/Rockabilly band. Exploring Quarter-tone composition, collecting an assortment of instruments to tickle my mind and indulging in the recording process have been some of the music-related interests that have been keeping me both busy and happy. As for my songwriting, my tunes have always aimed at sounding creative and unique, yet I try to balance these traits with accessibility. Though Guitar remains my main instrument, exploring the sounds of Orchestral & World Instrumentation and Synthesized Sounds have become as much a part of who I am as my treasured Guitars. My goal is to continue to write new material and make it available into the future. Throwing expectation aside, I'm just as curious as to what my next song or composition might be. Sometimes my music evolves from its original concept into something rather unexpected at the end. I hope you enjoy my music as much as I take pleasure in creating it!
