Album Notes
I began writing songs when I was 16 years old, back in 1974. I've written well over 200 songs over the years; however, I never had the time to pursue the music business when I was younger because I had a well paying job, and I did not want to live under a bridge until I got a contract! This album, 'Oblivion Highway,' is a first of three albums that make up a trilogy of albums with songs I wrote and recorded in the 1970's, 80's, & 90's. In all there are going to be 72 of my best recorded songs on all three albums combined. The two other albums, 'Honesty in Motion,' and 'Winter,' are to be released soon to follow. My genres consist of Folk, Folkrock, Country, Rockabilly, Gospel, Contemporary Christian, and Blues. The 23 songs on this album are among the favorite songs of my peers, and audiences to whom I've performed for. I am in the process of writing new material which will be available soon! I hope you enjoy my music as much as I enjoyed creating it... Contributing Backup Singers and musicians on this album include, Terry Gresham, Mark Wilson, Tony Archer, & Lori Medina.
