ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Gemini" is Scott Grant's debut album, released on 18 June 2012. Like many songwriters' first albums, it is sweet and sentimental (Dream Away, Just Like We Do), even melancholy at times (Sonic Blue, Hold On). Full of tasteful and conservative guitar and lush harmonies along with the superb musicianship of drummers Greg Smith and Don Thomas, bassist Oteil Burbridge, and keyboardist Matt Slocum. Scott's old bandmate from the Martini Shakers Jory Lee Heindel makes an appearance, crooning "Sonic Blue". The sounds are reminiscent of many '70's songs by Led Zeppelin, ELO, and late-era Beatles, and it is a solid debut album. "Gemini" was produced by Tym Cornell and mastered by Daniel Farris.
