ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Woman of Whimsy" is the debut album of Scout Durwood aka Lady Scoutington. Scout is a Los Angeles based chanteuse/comedienne who was recently named one of The Huffington Post's “20 Burlesque Stars to Know,” as well as Funny Not Slutty’s “10 Women Who Rock Comedy” and Stand Up Talk’s “Five Awesome Women’s Musical Comedy Acts.” She can currently be seen on Oxygen's "Funny Girls," a docu-series following the lives of six female comediennes as they try to break out in the world of comedy.

Previous to her time in LA, Scout inhabited the glittery stages of New York City where she started her career in cabaret and burlesque before eventually transitioning into stand-up comedy.

Her music is eclectic and graceful with a crunch of pop and nod to her cabaret roots. "Woman of Whimsy" has the wide-eyed innocence of a child and the drinking habits of a priest.

Special thanks to David Schmoll, Shawn Grindle and Heather Anne Campbell.
