Album Notes
Guitarist, composer Roy Scoutz released his first CD "World Cafe" in the spring of 1995. Since that time he has performed in Japan, New Zealand, Italy, Austria, the UK and Portugal. In the winter of 1998 Roy released his first Christmas CD "Joy to the World" and the following year he completed his third all original CD "Autumn's Whisper". In 2002 Roy released "From a Blue Sky" a brand new collection of original songs. Stunning in its beauty and scope, this CD firmly plants Roy Scoutz at the forefront of modern instrumentalists. The CD is filled with beautiful melodies, soaring arrangements and features Roy on guitar, piano, lap steel, hand percussion and bass. His next release "My Fathers Garden" was finished in the spring of 2003. This CD features again all originals and a variety of styles from smooth jazz to Latin. Roy's music has been heard in concert, on radio, in films and most recently on TV's, The Wedding Story. Roy has performed with Willie Nelson, Engelbert Humperdink and the Mighty Clouds of Joy. A California native, Roy now makes his home in Michigan where he has performed at the Ann Arbor Art Fair, Michigan Magazine's Expo, Plymouth Art in the Park and the fine art show in Tawas City.
