Album Notes
I am a part of the very popular band from the Cayman Islands, Hi Tide. I play acoustic guitar in our duo and drums with our bigger band.
After many years and many albums with the band I've decided to do a solo project featuring my drumming in a more rootsy Caribbean style.
Most of the songs are original except for two that were popular back in the day in the Cayman Islands. Cayman Moon by Dalmain Ebanks and As We Awaken by Mel McCoy.
Cayman Moon was originally a slow country style ballad but I decided to give it a different groove playing it Kitchen Band style using the old Cayman hoop drum.
The majority of songs on this album are all positive messages encouraging peace, love and harmony throughout the world.
It's what we all long for.
