ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"I have been using Sean's recording of the Solfeggio Tones in my NLP sessions in combination with metaphor stories and hypnosis and they have been VERY POWERFUL both for myself and with clients. When I play them on our sound system at home both Tony and I have profound dreams and our lives are deeply affected." - Tammra Broughton, RHN, RNCP, ROHP, MNLP, Living Proof NLP

"Sean, Thank you so much for coming to The 2012 Interior Wellness Festival in Kamloops BC. Your music was a huge hit, and our clients kept asking me, 'What is that music? It's so wonderful.' I even had a moment of deep relaxation as I was standing there at the stage working. I don't fully understand the philosophy behind the sounds you make, but they effect me in a wonderful relaxing way. It would be interesting to see an MRI printout of the brain waves while listening!
Thanks again for sharing with us,"
Una Connor, festival entertainment coordinator

"I sometimes enter a meditative state while listening to music, either intentionally or spontaneously. I've observed that certain musical conditions help enable meditation. Wordless, beatless music seems to provide a very accomodating environment. Long, low tones create an oasis amidst a busy life, a blank slate for the mind. The "Ancient Solfeggio Tones", as they are sometimes called, are a peculiar number system converted into musical frequencies. Simply a number game, and yet far from meaningless, the frequencies contain two instances of the Golden Mean and two instances of the Perfect Fourth when their ratios are measured. Perhaps these special frequencies might benefit health and meditation - and so I've rendered the frequencies into two collections of music. Volume 1 contains several pure minutes of each tone, reminiscent of electronic didjeridoos or crystal bowls. Volume 2 includes more exploratory experimental creations, bringing visions of science fiction into the mix." - Sean Luciw

Sean investigates the Ancient Solfeggio Tones in his book Chaos In Boxes: twisted adventures in music theory. Also, an "Ancient Solfeggio Tones" VST synthesizer is now available for free download at the artist's website.
