Wonderful CD!
This is a wonderful CD. Sean McGowan is surely one of the finest solo guitarists working today. His technique is flawless and these arrangements are beautiful and accessible, with just enough unique twists to command constant attention from the listener. The recording quality is excellent and his guitar’s tone is among the richest and fullest I have ever heard from a steel string flattop. Every track offers something a little different. My favorite, Hark the Herald Angels Sing, is a masterpiece of reharmonization. Highly recommended.
