Album Notes
The genesis of Sea of Zyn started to coagulate in the spring of 2008. A short time later, “…in the key of sinners” began to wriggle from a forgotten womb in the heart of Detroit. This city has our faith. This city has our hope. This city has our love. This city is our home. The spirits of independence, individuality, courage, personal freedom, creativity, and industry guide Sea of Zyn and inspired “…in the key of sinners.”

The work speaks for itself.

... additional inspiration from Thomas Jefferson
"Shake off all the fears of servile prejudices, under which weak minds are servilely crouched. Fix reason firmly in her seat, and call on her tribunal for every fact, every opinion. Question with boldness even the existence of a god; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason than that of blindfolded fear."
